happppy halloween!!

... a few days late.

Halloween isn't really a celebrated holiday over here in Belgium, but regardless of that fact, my friends and I were determined to celebrate Halloween as much as we would in the States! We found out about an International students Halloween party through my buddy, Evelyn, and so that was our plan.

Earlier this week we tried to come up with cheap costume ideas from what we had packed with us, and I came up with being a cat! Okay, so I had to go out and buy some cat ears and a tail.. but then I just dressed in black so it was easy. And BAM - I was a cat. MEOW!!

We HAD to take advantage of this ridiculously tacky wall art that was at the party...
don't judge.

It was kind of funny, because when we were walking around that night, we were part of the minority of students who were dressed in costume.. which is so weird! At home, you get made fun of if you don't dress up on Halloween! So I guess it goes to show that Halloween is really a more American "holiday"... got it.

In other news, IT'S NOVEMBER. That's weird.
And I leave for Croatia tomorrow! Also, slightly crazy.

I miss my world at home, but I'm so excited to be doing some amazing traveling this coming month! Have a lovely weekend, all!
