HOME.

I'm home! It's great!
I'm also jet lagged. It's not so great.

But the important part is that I'm back!!! Flights went smoothly - minus the fact that one of them was eight hours and forty minutes. What? That means it was almost nine hours long?

Yes. Longest. Flight. Ever.

But that's beside the point... I'm back here, and life is good. I've almost been home for twenty-four hours now! Wahoo! This week will be crazy busy getting my life back in order before moving back to Hanover on Sunday, but I'm sure I'll manage. And it's my goal to post about the remainder of my family's time in Europe - Paris & London! Don't you fret, I'll get it done.


Oh, and HAPPY NEW YEAR.
2012 was pretty great for me. Extraordinary, actually.
I traveled to Italy in the Spring with a class from Hanover. I had the best summer ever working at CYO Camp Rancho Framasa and met some amazing people. I was blessed with the awesome opportunity to study abroad, travel to eight new and wonderful countries, and (again) meet some pretty magnificent people.
I'm pretty darn lucky. This year was pretty great. 2013 has some pretty big shoes to fill...

Even though I still want to write two more posts on my family's time in Paris & London, this kind of seems like the end of my study abroad blog. At least, it seems like a pretty good place for a conclusion, right?
I've really enjoyed sharing about my adventures, mundane though they may have been at some points, and I hope that there's a few people out there that have enjoyed reading about them too! I don't know if this blogging thing will really catch on for me.. normal life for Lauren Bowers is not nearly as exciting as traveling through Europe, but we'll see.
